This tutorial requires you to have:

- Respect for my work.
Alright, let's start!
I'm going to pixel a simple carrot.
First of all, open up MS Paint (

) and let me introduce you to the tools you need from the toolbar.
On the toolbar, find these tools:

,

and

.
The one that looks like the pencil obviously is the pencil tool. It draws pixels easily. The paintbrush looking tool is the paintbrush (duh) and, using the smallest brush

, is also able to draw pixels (I prefer the pencil tool). The magnifier is a magnifier, which when zoomed into

Let us start actually pixelling. First of all, zoom in to 8x view. Click quickly once with the pencil or paintbrush tool. Do you see a small dot? That's a pixel!!! Well, not a full picture pixel.
Go right down to the colour pallete:
And choose a colour. Now edit it:
Now, fill your blank page (and the black pixel you drew at first) with a green (for later transparency) and dot a pallete with your edited colours like how I did here:
Also, I got the thumbnail option out, so I don't have to keep zooming in and out to view my pixel. Nifty eh?
Using the
tool, eye-drop the darkest orange colour and draw a
careful outline of the carrot. Don't let any lines touch each other as you can see from the picture. If they do, carefully use the eraser tool (in the shape of an eraser) to erase your mistake. If some green comes off, you can re-fill it!
Next, use the lighter colours to SHADE the carrot. The process is shown here:

Then, we will do the top of the carrot! Using the same method as the carrot-bottom, outline and shade the carrot-leaf.

This should be how the ending thumbnail looks (according to my pixel)!
My result with the green background is this:
To make it transparent or animate it, please read the other MS Paint tutorials!
